Stop Barking How Do I Get My Dog To Stop Barking When I Tell Her It Is Time For A Walk?

How do I get my dog to stop barking when I tell her it is time for a walk? - stop barking

I have a dog that I am from a friend. She has four years and I have no training. She barks when excited, and when I say it's time for a walk. She barks and barks and barks and jumps and it's hard for me to put the belt on her. They have good ideas to help training to stop barking when it's time for a walk it?

I have found in my local SPCA website could shake a can of coins or spray with a water pistol, barking at him a moment to, then you say "good dog" give a treat. I mean, really?

Have you used a particular dog, helping to preserve their peace?

Dogs are pack animals. This means that there is always a unit of the alpha or top dog. If the dog begins to bark in a firm voice say "NO". I am referring not only to the company. When he starts to bark, I say, "Hush touch" finger, if it works. When he stops barking for your pet and say, "Good Girl" This is done in a soft voice. Consistency is the key. Your dog seems to be, Alpha, you can use a few times, but you should see results quickly. Do not forget, you have the behavior that you want to correct immediately and do not reward the behavior immediately. In their behavior as you want, you are the alpha.

You should not use the condition as "Good Dog!" Ie, excitement, the dogs love the rest, I do not think simply say: "Time for a walk!", Only to face her down, put them on a leash and if she starts to pull the belt tension to be in a state dominates the mind, during this, or do not take it seriously and will continue to bark, good luck!

I've heard great things about the water bottle.

Do not spray! Negative reinforcement is far less effective than positive. However, if the dogs are not allowed to do, so I think that are taking advantage of, works well on my husky (dog hard as hell to get to hear).

First learned to sit and stay if you do not already know, or they are with ease. If you are about to leave the feeling of residence and his reward when he is quiet (not only excited him). Do not let them leave the house until it's time to soothe you to turn right. They learn when they do not do what you ask them not to pretend that what you do, they begin to behave.

Be consistent. Works like a charm, I have put my husky before they are virtually all go on this way forward and act rude or not to overwhelm me with their enthusiasm. Now it has to be used to and just said that.

Hope it helps:)
